Event Description With stories, doodles and personal reflections from his thirty years in hospice and palliative medicine, Dr. Rotella will explore parallels between the growth of the field of hospice and palliative care and his own development as a physician and medical humanist. Participants will be invited to ponder what this work means for them and how we can all take good care of ourselves and each other to sustain our mission over the long haul. At the end of his prepared remarks, Dr. Rotella will invite sharing and conversation with participants.
